Our passion for programming began a long time ago, when we discovered how amazing it is to build solutions from scratch that solve real problems. We love that feeling of taking an idea, translating it into code and watching it come to life — whether it's optimizing a process, automating something tedious or building a tool that makes someone's life easier. Over the years we've touched a bit of everything, from simple scripts to complex systems, always aiming for code that's efficient, maintainable and scalable.
Programming Languages We Master and Use in Our Projects
We've worked with a wide variety of languages throughout our journey, adapting to each project's and client's needs. We started with languages like C# for robust enterprise and .NET applications (with frameworks like .NET 8/ASP.NET Core for cross-platform, enterprise backends), Python for its versatility in automation, data processing, machine learning and quick scripts (using frameworks like Django for full web apps or FastAPI for modern, high-performance APIs), Java for scalable systems and enterprise backends (with Spring Boot as the star framework for microservices and fast enterprise applications), and JavaScript (with TypeScript) for dynamic frontend, fullstack and modern interactive experiences (with ecosystems like React and Next.js for reactive interfaces, Node.js for backend, and Angular/Vue when enterprise structure is needed). These languages have let us build everything from mobile and enterprise apps to AI tools and interactive websites.
In DomHostSeo's day-to-day, we combine several of these languages depending on the project: PHP for much of our web and CMS development, Python for AI and automation, Java for scalable backends, or JavaScript for interactive frontends. We always complement with the best of each ecosystem to deliver complete, modern solutions adapted to the client's needs.
One of the languages we've integrated most often is PHP, especially in real web projects where its practicality shines. We started with the early versions and have followed its evolution up to the modern ones, like PHP 8 and beyond, which bring huge improvements in performance, strong typing and security. At DomHostSeo, PHP is a key part of many projects: we use it to build sites from scratch, custom integrations and powerful frameworks like Symfony, Laravel and CodeIgniter. We like it because it's practical and versatile and lets us move fast from idea to working product without losing power on large projects — though we always combine it with other technologies when the project calls for it.
Modern Technologies and Specialization at the Agency
At the agency we work with a wide range of technologies to cover everything a business needs today: complete web development (across multiple stacks), technical and organic SEO, digital marketing, custom systems programming, Android and iOS apps, and above all process automation to save time and resources. Lately we've been building in a lot of artificial intelligence and machine learning — we're pioneers in Peru in intelligent virtual agents and assistants — because we see how AI is changing everything: from optimizing SEO with advanced tools to creating solutions that learn and adapt on their own. We don't limit ourselves to a single language or approach; we combine the best of each for optimal results.
CMSs We Use in Our Projects
And of course, CMSs are an important part of what we do. We work with several: Drupal for its modularity and power on medium and large sites that need to scale, WordPress for its flexibility and how easily plugins add functionality, WooCommerce for online stores, and PrestaShop or Magento when e-commerce needs something more specific. Always with an eye on technical SEO, because a beautiful site is useless if no one finds it on Google.
Giving Back to the Community: Our Open-Source Philosophy
Precisely because these platforms and tools have given us so much in real projects — with tourism clients, online stores and businesses that need automation — we feel we have to give something back. That's why we contribute actively to open source, publishing and maintaining modules for Drupal (and WordPress plugins when applicable), all in solid PHP built for current versions. They often grow out of concrete needs we've faced at Dom Host Seo: performance improvements for SEO, Media integrations, optimizations for WYSIWYG editors like CKEditor, and tools that make daily admin and frontend work easier.
They aren't massive contributions, but we try to make each one truly useful: clean, well-documented code, compatible with the latest Drupal updates (especially 10 and 11) and tested in real environments. The best part is when someone downloads one, adapts it or writes to us with feedback — a bug we missed, a new idea, or simply a thank-you because it saved them work. That motivates us to keep them alive and update them with every change in core or PHP.
In the end, open source is our way of sharing what we've learned at DomHostSeo: from AI-powered SEO optimizations to intelligent automation and editorial-experience improvements. It's paying it forward, learning from the community and helping the ecosystem keep growing for everyone.
Active Drupal Contributions: Modules Maintained by Our Team
In Drupal, our contributions are more concrete and active. We maintain and help create several contributed modules focused on solving real pains we've seen in client projects: advanced handling of Media (images and embeds), improvements to CKEditor 5 for more intuitive, powerful editing, performance and technical-SEO optimizations, accessibility, and utilities that simplify daily administration without complicating development.
These modules come straight from our work at DomHostSeo and are designed for developers, editors and sites looking for efficiency, a better content experience and superior SEO results. All are compatible with Drupal 10 and 11, production-tested and updated regularly.
