Magnific, the Spanish company formerly known as Freepik, has offered Magnific One since October 8, 2026: an image generator that settles composition, style and lighting before it creates anything, and that can apply a brand's rules to every image. It is on Magnific's paid plans. It matters to anyone who makes images for a website or for ads.
What we know
- What it is: Magnific's website calls it an "image model with art direction built in". Every prompt first goes through a layer that decides composition, style and light.
- Since when: Xataka, citing the company, says it has been available since October 8, 2026, on all paid plans and worldwide. Magnific's website advertises unlimited use in the desktop app from October 8 to 15.
- Two modes: according to its FAQ, Draft returns a grid of 8 or 16 images for the price of one, for exploring. Final produces the finished image, up to 4K.
- Brand Kit: it is optional. You give it a website, a guidelines PDF, images or a written description, and it extracts logo, palette, typography, imagery and tone. It works in Final only and, at launch, only with Magnific One, the same page says. An agency can keep one kit per brand.
- Edits: Auto Layers splits the image into editable layers; text, colors and typography can be fixed without regenerating. There are plugins for Figma and Photoshop.
- Price: it uses credits, priced by quality and resolution, according to the website. Xataka reports the figures Magnific gave it: from 180 credits for a High image at 2K up to 1,000 for a Max image at 4K.
- Promotion: the pricing page says unlimited use until October 15 is included with Premium+, Pro and Business, and that maximum quality still uses credits.
- Plans: billed annually, Premium costs $11 a month with 240,000 credits a year; Premium+, $27.50 and 600,000; Pro, $66.92 and 1.5 million. Taxes not included, per that page.
- What runs underneath: Xataka reports that the company says it has not trained a new generative model: One is its own layer on top of an image technology that may change. Magnific's website does not name it.
- Commercial use: the pricing FAQ allows it and leaves the user responsible for not infringing third-party rights.
What changes and what doesn't
The place where decisions are made changes. Framing, light and style no longer have to be written into the prompt: the tool proposes them and you choose.
Brand control changes. The rules are defined once and every Final image is checked against them.
It is not the cheap model on the platform. Magnific's credit table lists Nano Banana Pro at 2K at 75 credits per image. At the 180 credits Xataka cites, a One image costs 2.4 times as much.
The math for the annual Premium plan: 240,000 credits cover about 1,333 High images at 2K a year, against the 3,200 Nano Banana Pro 2K images the pricing page advertises. That is roughly $0.10 per image. It is this article's estimate, and it rests on a figure found only in Xataka: Magnific's credit table did not list Magnific One on October 8.
And it does not replace review. Brand Kit flags deviations; it does not guarantee that a logo or a line of text comes out right.
How to tell if it fits your business website
- Count how many images you publish a month. If it is four or five, a cheaper model from the same table may be enough.
- If you already pay for Premium+, Pro or Business, try it before October 15. In the desktop app it uses no credits during those days, except at maximum quality. Don't buy a plan just for the promotion.
- Check what Brand Kit pulls from your site. If your site still carries old colors or fonts, it will copy them. Fix the kit before you generate.
- Don't upload the 4K file as is. For a website, export at the size it will actually be shown and in WebP. A heavy image slows loading: visitors notice and Google measures it.
- Write the alt text and a descriptive file name. The tool does not do it for you.
- Don't pass off a generated image as a real photo of your product, your team or your premises. And don't publish ones that show other companies' brands or recognizable faces.
- Check the credit table before a campaign. Magnific reserves the right to change credit costs without notice.
