Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Business

We apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to specific problems in your business: forecasting sales, sorting inquiries and documents, finding patterns in your data and building assistants that work with your information. We start with a small test on your own data to prove it works before you invest more. Ask for your free, no-obligation quote.

What artificial intelligence and machine learning are

Artificial intelligence (AI) is software that does tasks that used to need a person: understanding text, recognizing what's in an image or estimating what will happen next. Machine learning is the part of AI that learns from examples instead of following hand-written rules: show it thousands of past sales and it learns to estimate the next ones. Deep learning is a type of machine learning based on neural networks, which performs best when there is a lot of data, such as text, images or large histories.

What it's used for in a business

  • Forecasting sales and demand, so you can buy, produce or hire in time.
  • Sorting and organizing: emails, inquiries, documents or reviews that someone reads one by one today.
  • Pulling data out of documents such as invoices or forms, without retyping it.
  • Spotting what's out of the ordinary: orders, payments or results that deserve a second look.
  • Drafting text and images for marketing, always with a person reviewing before anything is published.
  • Answering with your information on WhatsApp or your website, with AI virtual assistants.

Machine learning and deep learning for sales

A sales forecasting model learns from your history: what sold, when, at what price and in which season. From that it estimates how much you will sell per product and per week or month, with a margin of error we show you before you base decisions on it.

It needs data to work: as a rule of thumb, one or two years of recorded sales, or a large number of transactions if the history is shorter. With little data, a simple model is usually more accurate than deep learning, so we use the simplest model that performs well and only move up when the data justifies it.

How we work

  1. We define the business question and how we'll measure whether the answer is useful.
  2. We review your data: how much there is, what shape it's in and whether it can be used.
  3. We run a proof of concept on part of the data and show you how accurate it is.
  4. We integrate it where you already work: a spreadsheet, your website, your sales system or WhatsApp.
  5. We keep monitoring it, because data changes and a model nobody reviews loses accuracy.

We work with companies in Cusco and elsewhere in Peru, and we also take on clients from other countries.

What it takes, and what we don't promise

We don't promise an accuracy rate before seeing your data: it depends on how much there is and how good it is, and we give you real figures after the test. If the task is better solved with simple rules, we'll say so and handle it with business process automation, which costs less.

Personal data is handled with the care required by Peru's personal data protection law and the rules of the country where your company operates.

For travel agencies

An agency can forecast demand by season, answer inquiries in several languages at any hour and sort guest reviews to see what to improve. For Machu Picchu and Inca Trail tours, it pairs with our availability calendar.

Frequently asked questions about AI and machine learning

What is artificial intelligence?

It's software that does tasks that used to need a person, such as understanding text, recognizing images or making estimates from data.

What is machine learning?

It's the part of artificial intelligence that learns from examples. Instead of writing every rule, the model finds the patterns in your historical data.

Is it only for big companies?

No. Many AI tools are available by subscription and a small test doesn't cost much. What forecasting does require is recorded data.

Does it replace employees?

It takes on repetitive or high-volume tasks. Decisions and customer contact stay with your team, who now work with better information.

Does it work for tourism?

Yes: seasonal demand forecasting, answers in several languages at any hour and review analysis are common uses in travel agencies and hotels.
